Underwater Gliders to Help Improve Hurricane Forecasts
The gliders are currently collecting data to help scientists understand key factors that could determine the hurricane intensity forecasts. The study is being lead by the Rutgers University and data collected will go through NOAA’s to NOAA’s National Weather Service, the U.S Navy and other data users. Read the full story
